Energy Psychology
Energy Psychology is an approach to healing that combines principles of traditional oriental medicine with principles of conventional western psychology.
From the perspective of oriental medicine, Energy Psychology integrates aspects of meridians, chakras, and the biofield in ways that activate the most effective flow of energy throughout the body.

energy vibrations that vitalize us physically, emotionally, mentally,
and spiritually.
From the perspective of conventional western psychology, Energy
Psychology recognizes that thoughts and emotions affect this matrix of energy vibrations in ways that deplete or support our life energy. For example, think of a time when you were so angry that your body seemed to vibrate and shake. Think of another time when love captured your heart and you sank into a giddy, soft, radiant state of happiness. Both the shaking (grrr) and the sinking (ahhh) had corresponding brain-body chemicals and energy matrix patterns that surged throughout your body. Eventually these chemicals and patterns affected you in ways that supported or depleted your overall sense of well-being.
Emotional stress can create, contribute to, and trigger a number of physical illnesses and psychological disorders such as anxiety, phobias, post-traumatic stress, and depression to name a few. Essentially when the corresponding disruptions in the vibrational matrix can be neutralized and toxic emotions can be released, our sense of well-being can vastly improve. For this reason, Energy Psychology is often referred to as acupuncture for the emotions without needles.
Limiting beliefs – be they conscious or unconscious – have a corresponding vibration that is registered in our energy field. Conventional psychology addresses limiting beliefs. Energy Psychology also addresses the energy associated with these beliefs.
According to Dr. Bruce Lipton, researcher in the science of epigenetics,
“DNA is controlled by signals from outside the cell, including the energetic messages emanating from our positive and negative thoughts.”
Preliminary studies have shown measurable changes in brain scans, suggesting that Energy Psychology techniques can bring about rapid, significant, and lasting improvement at the neurological level. Please visit the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) website for more information.
